Hello and welcome to Lil' Inker Designs November Monthly Meet-up Challenge!  Details on the challenge are below. If you participate, just by designing something (ANYTHING) using Lil' Inker Designs, you could have the chance to win a $35 gift certificate to the Lil' Inker Designs store!

This is the challenge inspiration photo.
(Did you notice that there is a sale on all things stars?? More about that below!)

Jen Carter Star Garland Complete 2

I don't have a fireplace in my home, so that also means I don't have a mantel.  But I really wanted one so I created one with a shelf.  I like to decorate the shelf with pops of color and to fit the seasons.  When I first created this garland, I thought it would be used for Christmas but then I realized it fit in well with my Fall/Autumn decorations pretty well!

Putting this banner together was a snap!  I used two sizes of the Stitched Stars die set.  I love using my dies for home decor projects!  This is something that I can easily save when the season is over and pull out again next year too if I choose to and it didn't cost me a thing except for the time I used to make it since I already had all of the supplies.

To create the garland, I die cut all of my stars which went fairly quickly since I die cut two sizes at a time.  Then after they were cut I lined them up how I wanted them and then ran them through my sewing machine.  So easy!  I made sure to leave a nice length of thread on the ends so that it would be easy to attach.  I love the extra little detail that the stitching gives too!

If you don't have these Stitched Star dies, this is the perfect time to pick them up because they are on sale through November 18th for 15% off!

Here's a list of what you can pick up on sale! :)

So, how can YOU pay along?
Make a new project or share something you've been working on featuring LID goodies & post this project to your blog or favorite gallery. Link your project to our challenge by using the InLinkz tool on the monthly post on the Lil' Inker Designs blog.  You have through November 18th at 11:30 PM EST to link your project to be eligible to win a prize. Projects should exclusively feature LID goodies to be eligible to win but do not need to exclusively feature LID goodies to join our Meetup. I'm excited to see what you create!
What can you win?
This month's prize is a $35 gift certificate to Lil' Inker Designs!  Winners will be announced in a new blog post shortly after the challenge ends on the Lil' Inker Designs blog. Have fun and we can't wait to see what you're working on!
